Repair of Chery Electric guitar Les Paul model from 1995.

When the guitar came in the workshop, it was with a full brok of the neck and fingerboard.


It was tried glued together, the assembly was not conducted craftlike, and the

fingerboard had a kinks in the assembly, and the guitar was worthless.



freet number 3 was missing. All hardware was gone, except for tuning mechanics.


    

The poorly performed gluing was cut up and the saw cuts were cut clean and parallel.

    

Saw-cutting and trimming has led to a lack of material for the proper length of the neck.

There is glued a piece of wood to compensate for the cut.


After in gluing the extra wood. Is the cut surface of the tuning head adapted for proper direction before gluing.

    

After this, the tuning head is glued on the neck.

    

The glued piece of wood is cut and sanded, then the fingerboard is glued on.

    

    

The missing 3. freet is fillet and glued in place.

The completed renovated guitar neck ready for painting.


Repair of the woodwork is finished and the guitar is ready for installation of hardware and electronics.

    

The guitar is equipped with a Gibson USA neck pickup, and a Dimarzio USA bridge pickup.


    

The Chery guitar is made from solid mahogany with a maple top on the body


and rosewood fingerboard and is very close to a Gibson to play on.
