Repair of Dynacord KV10 amplifier 1959th |

The amplifier came to the workshop with the following error message! "It has not been connected, but the seller said that one of the capacitors were defective". I found a schematic. |

The amplifier came on the workbench, the first thing that jumped in his eyes was a filter capacitor mounted with tape. |
|
|
|
It proved to be a substitute for the 2 cathode capacitors acc. the diagram should be 50 uF 30 Volts. |
|
The capacitor, mounted with tape, was 50uF + 50uF 350 volts and 12uF 16 volts. |
|
A measurement of resistors, showed that the two cathode resistors as acc. the diagram should be 390 ohm 5 watt, |
|
measured respectively. 1.2 Mohm and 1 Kohm. they had to be replaced. |

|
One half of a 32 + 32 uF 350 volts smoothing capacitor in the power supply was soldered of. |
|
There was bought a replacement and it was soldered in. There was connected to 230 volts, and amplifier played. |
